Those who want to stay on the asphalt trail, take the 2-mile entrance asphalt-paved trail (pictured) to the 7-mile loop. The place where it intersects the loop has a water kiosk known as 4 Corners.
People wanting a shorter run, turn around there.
VERY important to stay to the edge of the trail and look out for cyclists.
Trail runners will come to the first option to get on an off-road single-track trail at Panther, which is about 1.2 miles from the parking lot.

Park usually opens between 6:30 and 6:50, but park officially opens at 7 a.m.
